We would like to invite you to attend our Basic Embroidery Workshop at X-Lab!

This workshop is designed to introduce you to machine embroidery and give you hands-on experience using the Janome MB-7 embroidery machine at X-Lab. 

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn the basic principles of machine embroidery, explore the machine's functions, prepare embroidery designs, and bring your own creations to life using the Janome MB-7. The workshop leaders will guide you through the process and provide assistance along the way, ensuring that you have a fun and productive experience. 

The workshop will take place at X-Lab, located at LTH, and will be conducted in English. No prior experience with machine embroidery is required, so everyone is welcome to join. It is recommended that you bring a laptop with vector graphics software installed (such as Inkscape), as well as an image file of a design you would like to embroider. 

This will allow you to experiment with preparing your own design during the workshop. However, if you do not have a specific design in mind, you are still welcome to participate! Our goal is to have all attendees get to try the machine but depending on how many people show up, we can't guarantee everyone gets to create a design. However, all of you will get the knowledge on how to use the machine yourself when you're at X-Lab in the future.
