In this course (MTTF96), students in the Master of Science in Engineering programmes get a chance to become acquainted with their future professional roles and the conditions at a workplace. This is achieved through workplace training at a company for eight consecutive weeks.

Optional course after year three

This is a 15-credit optional course in all Master of Science in Engineering programmes but it is not listed among other optional courses in the schedules. It can be taken after the third year in the study programme and it qualifies for student allowances, even if it is planned during the summer.

The training must be carried out according to an approved project plan, which is agreed by the student, the company supervisor and the faculty supervisor. Students in need of a faculty supervisor are most welcome to contact Packaging logistics.
